Deal - Coastal Courses
17 August 2016
For over a year now, we have been giving you a virtual tour of all of our fantastic centres throughout Kent, but unfortunately the time has come that we've got just one more centre to show you! We will be sure to fill the void with a new recurring feature though, so keep your eyes peeled.
Located on the site of Castle Community College, the centre is one of our smallest and newest (the current building was built in 1995) buildings but still packs in plenty of courses, allowing you to learn new skills in a number of different areas. Despite the small building, the centre actually has the largest pottery studio of all of our centres, and you can find completed work from our previous learners throughout the centre for inspiration. The centre also has two classrooms with interactive whiteboards, one of which doubles as an IT suite, which are both perfect for hosting other courses including our Personal Development, Business, Language and Photography provisions.
The location of the building makes it an ideal home for our Art courses, it's a 10 minute walk to the seafront so you can take a short trip for some stunning views and inspiration for your art. It's also the perfect place to spend some time before, during and after your course. The town has some very important history to it too, it's close to the spot where the Romans landed during Julius Caesar's invasion of Britain in 55 BC.
The centre is easy to access for those that don't drive, it's exactly halfway between Deal and Walmer train stations, with a 20 minute walk (at most) from either station, with a bus route that runs from the directions of both Sandwich and Dover. So if you can't find your ideal course at our centre in Dover, it's easy to make your way to Deal.
Deal is a growing town and was recently named the winner of the Daily Telegraph's High Street of the Year award, so make sure you head down to the coast and find the perfect course for you by clicking the button below.
