Centre information

The Dover Adult Education Centre was the first integrated learning centre in Kent and is surrounded by Dover's ancient history. From the glazed crescent of the Children's Library can be seen the ruins of St Martin-le-Grande, and from the other side of the building the remains of the gateway of the Classis Britannica Fort are visible.

Parking Information

Nearest Parking: Albany Place
Parking Costs: 50p per hour or £3 for a day. Parking is free for Blue Badge holders

Access to the Adult Education courses after the above closure time is via the left-hand door at the side of the building.

Public Transport: There is a good local bus network. Dover Priory railway station is a 10 minute walk from the centre.

Opening times

The opening times during term time are as follows:

Monday  9am to 3pm
Tuesday 9am to 1pm
Wednesday  9am to 5pm  
Thursday  9am to 5pm  
Friday  9am to 1pm  

Please note that the centre is usually closed on Sundays.

Outside term time the office will open during the following times:

Monday to Thursday 9am to 1pm
Friday 9am to 12pm
