Floristry - Make a Christmas Door Wreath

This course will be held at St Faiths Adult Education Centre, Maidstone.

In this half day Saturday workshop, you will create a beautiful Christmas door wreath for your home using a variety of foliage. You can personalise your wreath by adding items of your choice to add colour and interest.

MInce pies and a glass of Christmas bubbly (non alcoholic) are included in this informal and fun workshop

Who is the tutor?

About the Tutor: Jackie Brooks

Jackie Brooks is a very experienced teacher of Floristry and also runs her own floristry business. She specialises in contemporary and modern styles.

How will I be taught?

Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. Your tutor will give you individual feedback.

What do I need to bring with me?

The frame, moss and all the wires you will need are included in the course fee.

In order to make your wreath individual, please bring with you:

- A large carrier bag full of winter foliage: holly, yew, ivy are all suitable.
- Ribbon to make a bow, if required.
- Any decorations you wish to place on the wreath, for example satsumas, dry oranges slices, fir cones, baubles, cinnamon sticks, feathers, beads, tiny toys. Anything is fine.
- Scissors.
- Black bin bag.
