This is an online course delivered using Zoom, in real time with live interaction with your tutor and fellow learners.
This course brings the Christmas festivities into your home! Starting with a modern linier design and finishing with a wonderful welcome wreath for your front door. In between we shall make gorgeous displays to be placed around your home.

Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Jackie Brooks
Jackie Brooks is a very experienced teacher of Floristry and also runs her own floristry business. She specialises in contemporary and modern styles.
How will I be taught?
This course will be delivered online. You will join the class from home and be able to exchange and interact with other learners as you would in the classroom (speaking and listening).
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. The tutor will give you individual feedback throughout the course.
What do I need to have with me?
On the first lesson please have with you:-
- Low flat bowl. (a Lasagne dish is fine).
- Brick of Floral Foam (Oasis).
- Bunch of supermarket Roses.
- Approx 6 baubles to complement the roses in colour
- Approx 6 small fir cones.
- Some Ivy, or other foliage.
- A few twigs

What do I need to join the course
Everyone is welcome to join this course.
This course is suitable for anyone interested in flower arranging in a variety of styles, both traditional and modern.
You only need, scissors, fresh foliage and flowers, along with other Christmas bits and bobs, you will be advised on these the week before (please see the 'What Do I Need to Bring With Me' section).
You can access the class from your computer equipped with a camera and a microphone, from a laptop (where the camera and microphone should be built-in), a tablet or a smartphone. Before each lesson, the tutor may send you by email essential lesson information/handouts for you to consult in advance, and before the class starts, the tutor will have sent you by email an invitation to join, which will be a simple weblink to click.
