This course will be taught in our St Faiths Centre, Maidstone.
This course will focus on the basic principles of flower arranging.
Over this three week course, you will look at structure, grouping, balance, recession and colour and well as looking at the underlying knowledge of sustainable Floristry.
All abilities are welcome, however this course will start from the absolute basics and work from there.

Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Jackie Brooks
Jackie Brooks is a very experienced teacher of Floristry and also runs her own floristry business. She specialises in contemporary and modern styles.
How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. The tutor will give you individual feedback throughout the course.
What do I need to bring with me?
One the first lesson please bring:-
- A small dish.
- Pin holder (Kezan) or floral foam.
- Scissors.
- Bunch of Roses (mine will come from the supermarket).
- Handful of flat leaves about the size of your palm.
- Handful of fluffy style leaves, (Lavender, Hebe, Rosemary style foliage).
- Twig approx. 18inches 45cm high, If it is twisted/curvey the better (this is not important though).
If you are a returning student, please bring 2 bunches of Roses and a larger pin holder or foam, plus one or two different types of foliage.

What do I need to join the course
This course is for beginners and those with some experience.
