This is an online course delivered using Zoom, in real time with live interaction with your tutor and fellow learners.

This course will cover button holes, corsages, thank you bouquets, church flower arrangements, top table arrangements and much more. Please note, we do not design a bride’s bouquet. It is perfect for those who wish to help out at a friend’s wedding. You will not be able to decorate St Paul's Cathedral, but you will be a big help at your local church, and you never know, St Paul's Cathedral might be next! Each week you will produce a floral piece in a different style.

By the end of the course you should be able to:

- create a variety of differing styles of floral arrangements using fresh flowers and foliage
- confidently apply floristry techniques to an appropriate level
- understand the care and conditioning needs of a variety of plant material
- show a knowledge and understanding about seasonal plant material
- demonstrate an awareness of basic design and colour theory

Homework is not a requirement of the course, but you will need to source flowers for your class each week.
