This Italian beginners Steps to Conversation will focus of basic speaking skills and Italian grammar foundation.
Therefore this online classroom will help you to speak Italian at a basic level.
This course is ideal if you have been studying on your own with different apps and need now some teacher support and practise within a classroom
The Italian Module C reinforces the language covered in the other modules or short courses and it is not for complete beginners. You can join Module C if you have some basic previous knowledge (around 40h of study).

This is an opportunity to practise speaking Italian and develop your language and vocabulary face to face with your tutor and other students.

By the end of this short course you will have:

• Developed vocabulary on food/drink
• Introduce yourself and others

Basic grammar will be studied. You will learn to use expressions and forms appropriate to the language using verbs at present tense, gender, prepositions and adjectives.

You may be given homework (1 hr max) each week to reinforce classroom learning.

How will I be taught?

The focus will be on oral communication (speaking and listening) and some reading and writing will also be included. Pronunciation and Italian culture are an integral part of the course. The course will be conducted mainly in the foreign appropriate language to your level. Learners will work through different activities individually, in pairs and in small groups, using a variety of learning methods and resources (role-play and games etc). Homework set will provide and opportunity for self study including the use of on-line resources.
Initial assessment will be carried out at the beginning of the course to assess individual skill level. Each student's starting point will be recorded on an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and targets will be set. This will be revisited from time to time during the course to monitor and record progress. Tutors will mark homework and give written or verbal feedback.

What do I need to have with me?

The course book will be discussed at the first session if appropriate. As this is the third module of the course it should continue with the course book used during Module A and B. Students will need to bring a pen and paper and an A4 ring binder for handouts, although we advise students not to buy anything until after the first session.

What can I do next?

After completing module C, the appropriate follow-on course is a Beginners Plus. The tutor will be able to advise or check www.kentadulteducation.co.uk.

What do I need to join the course
