Would you like to pronounce words better? Are you struggling with Che/Chi/ Sci/Sca mixing pesce with pesche and more? Why do not join this mixed level course?
You will benefit from learning in a classroom with a supportive native speaker tutor that will help you to reach a very good pronunciation. You will also work on intonation as words are not merely tools to convey basic messages, but sophisticated descriptions of emotional states.
Italian pronunciation might pose some difficulties for the beginner. Yet it is very regular, and once the rules are understood it is easy to pronounce each word correctly.
The pronuncaition exercises are put incontext therefore you will also learn about Italian culture.
By the end of the course successful students will be able to:
Pronounce Italian Vowels within given words
Pronounce Difficult Consonants (that are sounded significantly differently than their English counterparts)
Grasp key fact about Italy and Italian culture

How will I be taught?
The focus will be on oral communication (speaking and listening). Reaching the right pronunciation is the aim of this short course thus there will be a lot of repetition/recording exercises in group and individually.
You will be suggested some exercises to repeat at home in order to keep the right pronunciation.
What do I need to have with me?
Students will need to bring a pen and paper and an A4 ring binder for handouts. If you have a recording device please bring it with you.

What do I need to join the course
This is a course designed for students who already know some basic Italian. Ideally you have attended a long Beginners Course or the 3 Beginners modular courses.
