This course will be held at St Faiths Adult Education Centre, Maidstone.
Macramé is a French word that means knot; it is one of the oldest forms of art. Work is produced using knotting techniques. Basic macramé uses a number of different knots that when combined can create borders or braids to decorate bags, lamps, curtains or for this course – a wall hanging. Macrame has become very popular again in the last few years, and there are over 50 types of different knots that can be used to create beautiful designs.
In this course you will create a lovely macramé wall hanging incorporating a variety of knots under the expert guidance of your Tutor. Your wall hanging can be displayed to create an eye catching and very attractive feature in your home.
