This is an online course delivered using Zoom, in real time, with live interaction with your tutor and fellow learners.
Mindfulness is the ability to pay deliberate attention to our experience from moment to moment, to what is going on in our mind and body from day to day.
By the end of the course you will be able to: Prepare the body and breath for meditation; Meditate; Consider the benefits of mindfulness.

How will I be taught?
You will be guided through a posture designed to prepare the body and mind for meditation. Students will be able to meditate and enjoy their journey (you will not be asked to share this journey with your peers). Specific topics will be discussed e.g what is happiness? Your tutor will provide you with feedback and advice.
What do I need to have with me?
Loose comfortable clothing, you should also have a bottle or glass of water available.

What do I need to join the course
There are no entry requirements for this course, it is for people of all ages and abilities with an interest in meditation, either new to Mindfulness or with some past or current experience. This course may particularly appeal to those who experience stress or anxiety.
