Do you have a camera you rarely use but would like to learn how to? Have you ever wanted to take better photographs but have never had time to learn properly? This course could be for you.
This is a five week course for beginners to learn basic controls and compositions with their cameras. This course will cover how to best use a camera to take desirable photographs and frame the world successfully. Learners will be taken step by step through the basic operations of their specific camera. Topics will include: using the zoom or focal length to compose an image; focussing techniques to keep your subject sharp; choosing correct modes for different situations; and adjusting your exposure to improve your photographs.
At the end of the course students will be able to-
1. Identify and name parts of a camera
2. Create correctly focussed images
3. Adjust exposure for different lighting situations
4. Recognise different compositional techniques in photography
