How will I be taught?

Our one day craft courses provide an opportunity for students to experience some of the techniques and processes of the chosen craft. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring an apron or overall to the lessons as clay tends to be a messy subject. If you have any pottery tools bring them to the first session but do not buy any equipment until you have spoken with the tutor. A notebook, pen and pencil will be useful for taking notes related to your object making. For Health and Safety please wear closed toe foot ware.

All items made on the day will be glazed and fired by our technician, please note this can take up to 2 weeks. When you work is ready for collection you will received an email informing you of the collection date.
