About the Tutor: Eloise Nash
How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for you to learn and develop skills, techniques and understand how to design for a chosen craft. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including: demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques. You will be encouraged to look at the work of other craftspeople and artists, both contemporary and historical.
Your tutor will give you feedback during the sessions and during one to one tuition.
Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors most of whom are practising craftspeople.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring an apron or overall to the lessons as clay tends to be a messy subject. If you have any pottery tools bring them to the first session but do not buy any equipment until you have spoken with the tutor. A notebook, pen and pencil will be useful for taking notes related to your object making. Clay, glazes and firing are costed by weight and the size of the item you create.

What can I do next?
