How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for students to learn, develop and practise the skills of a specific craft. Students will also be encouraged to develop a dialogue with the contemporary and historical context of the craft, and will be encouraged to keep a sketchbook/notebook to recordideas, processes and progress. Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors, most of whom are practising craftspeople. They will use variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, instruction, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques. To ensure that students' learning needs are met, the tutor will work with the student to complete the required Individual Learning Plan.
One to one guidance, group critiques, self-assessment against individualised learning outcomes.
