Each workshop will commence with clear learning outcomes and more often or not, a tutor demonstration, taking you step by step through the process. One to one guidance is an essential part of learning and development, along with group discussions and informal critiques.

A well equipped sewing kit to include large and small scissors, hand and machine needles, seam ripper, tape measure, pins, threads. Paper scissors, ruler, notebook, pencil and rubber. More experienced students can bring a pattern and fabric to the first session, beginners will be given advice and guidance on a good starting project

This course is for beginners or those with some sewing experience to make some original home furnishing or clothing items . The skills taught can be applied to a variety of future projects.
It is important to note that craft courses are practical, requiring a degree of manual dexterity.
