This try session will give students an opportunity to meet the tutor and learn some basic words and phrases in Turkish.
This course will be particularly useful for students thinking about enrolling on one of our Turkish Beginners Modular or Beginners Plus courses.,
By the end of the taster session students should be able to:-,
- Use basic greetings and give personal information using key words and phrases,
- Recognise and order typical Turkish dishes and drink,

How will I be taught?
The emphasis in this course is on speaking and listening. The lessons focus on language that is required in authentic situations. To help you develop language skills the course will be conducted mainly in the foreign language. You will work through different activities individually, in pairs and in small groups, using a variety of learning methods and resources (role-play and games etc.). To ensure your progression, it is essential to attend on a regular basis.
What do I need to have with me?
There is no course book for this session. Students will need to have with them a pen and paper and an A4 ring binder for handouts, although we advise students not to buy anything until after the first session.
