This course will transport to Turkey to dazzles your senses, from Istanbul's bustling Grand Bazaar with scents of spices to the incredible cave dwellings of Cappadocia and the shimmering tiles of the Blue Mosque – not to mention the delicious cuisine. You will discover richly historical sites, such as the famous Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace and the legendary city of Troy.

How will I be taught?
The emphasis in this course is on speaking and listening. The lessons focus on language that is required in authentic situations. To help you develop language skills the course will be conducted mainly in the foreign language. You will work through different activities individually, in pairs and in small groups, using a variety of learning methods and resources (role-play and games etc.). To ensure your progression, it is essential to attend on a regular basis.
What do I need to have with me?
There is no course book for this session. Students will need to bring a pen and paper and an A4 ring binder for handouts, although we advise students not to buy anything until after the first session.
