An exciting new opportunity from Kent Adult Education! Private One- to- One Bespoke Yoga tuition in the comfort of your own home.

Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced student your private yoga teacher will be able to design a personal program addressing your individual requirements on a one-to-one basis in the comfort of your own home. You will also get to choose the day, time and length of each yoga session as well as the number of sessions you would like! Meaning you can experience the unique benefits of yoga in a completely bespoke way.

One to one yoga classes will also give you the opportunity to gain a more detailed understanding of yoga and its origins.

If you are a beginner, you may wish to use this opportunity to arrange some one-to-one sessions in your own home to familiarise yourself with the practise before joining a class.

If you are undergoing medical treatment or rehabilitation, we can tailor your one-to-one sessions to your unique personal situation.

It may simply be that you want to treat yourself to a bespoke one-to-one course in the comfort of your own home.

Whatever your reason, you will have the opportunity to modify a course to suit your needs. Sessions can be anything from 30 minutes to 1 hour and you can determine how many sessions you would like to have in your course, as well as when and how often you would like them to occur. Each course is individually priced with sessions costing as little as £20!

Who is the tutor?

About the Tutor: Jayne Samson

The daughter of a dance teacher, Jayne trained as an exercise instructor in 2000. Her classes combine the enjoyment of dance with the benefits of exercise. Her aim is to create exercise classes that are fun, effective and suitable for every ability.
Jayne has subsequently qualified to teach exercise for the older adult, Zumba, Zumba for kids and more recently as a Yoga teacher in 2016.

How will I be taught?

You will be taught by a qualified instructor. Teaching methods will include demonstration, explanation, discussion and times for question and answer sessions. Your tutor will demonstrate movements and talk you through all exercises. You will be required to complete a pre course health and fitness questionnaire and during the lessons you will be carefully observed to ensure that you are working safely. You will also be encouraged to monitor and record your progression through the course on an Individual Learning Plan, which your tutor will also use to give you feedback on your progress. At the end of the course you and your tutor will assess the progress you have made.

What do I need to have with me?

These will be discussed with you prior to the course starting but you can assume you will need a Yoga mat and a suitable space to work in.

What can I do next?

You may decide to go on to one of our Yoga group courses or you may wish to continue learning one-to-one, either way your tutor will be happy to discuss this with you.
