How will I be taught?
Your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and support you in achieving your full potential.
The course will be taught in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, which will cater for your individual needs. Your starting point is recorded on an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and targets are set to help you develop your skills and reach your goals. These goals are revisited throughout the course so that you and your tutor can monitor and record your progress.
Your tutor will provide you with verbal feedback during the sessions. You will complete a learning plan designed to support you through the course.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need a pen, a notepad, a folder for keeping course materials and a USB memory stick so that you can practise and use documents you have produced at home.
You will ideally have access to a computer in order to practise outside class time (at home, at work or at the library).
