How will I be taught?
Each week there will be an informative, illustrated talk during which class discussion will be encouraged. Students will sometimes analyse original sources and a range of handouts will be available for discussion purposes.
There is no formal assessment but you will be encouraged to discuss your progress during the course with the tutor and complete an Individual Learning Plan which provides a record of the specific topics you will have covered.

What do I need to join the course
Your tutor will provide materials for discussion at each session, however, you are welcome to bring books, articles, pictures etc. to be shared or discussed in the class,
Everyone is welcome to join this course. No prior knowledge is necessary but a good understanding of English is essential. This course is for anyone interested in the Second World War, women’s history or with a general interest in history.
