How will I be taught?
You will be taught individually, in small and larger groups. You will participate in communication exercises, role plays using texts, group dynamic techniques and improvisation.
Your starting point at the beginning of the course will be recorded on your Learning plan (ILP) with the help of your tutor. Your developments and progresses throughout the sessions will be discussed and assessed on the plan to help you gauge your achievements.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please wear soft shoes and loose comfortable clothing. It is useful to ring pen and notepad to each session.

What do I need to join the course
The course is for anyone who wishes to develop assertiveness, communication, presentations to become more effective in the workplace.
Former learners included for example Teachers, Trainee Teachers, Drama students, actors, business staff, social workers, youth workers, nurses, writers and other students attending to develop personally and socially.
No formal qualification is necessary, both beginners and experienced students with an interest in Drama and an ability to communicate are welcome.
If they wish (this is optional), students are encouraged to go to the theatre to see contemporary productions, for example "Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams and Prietsly's "An inspector Calls"
