How will I be taught?
Lessons will take the form of a mixture of drawing exercises, discussions about particular artists’ drawings and one-to-one teaching.
One to one guidance, group critiques, self-assessment against individualised learning outcomes stated on the ILP.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please do not purchase any items before speaking to the tutor for guidance. However if you already had items like charcoal, cartridge paper, putty rubber and masking tape, these would be helpful to start with (they can be purchased at the class) but any drawing medium is suitable and individual choice is encouraged. These items can be purchased at the centre from the tutor.
What can I do next?
We offer a wide range of courses in Oils and Acrylic, life drawing, watercolour, drawing and painting and specialist workshops at the Turner Contemporary.
What do I need to join the course
Everyone is welcome to join this course as no experience is necessary.
Beginners and those with experience will equally benefit from this course. It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course.
