How will I be taught?
We will meet at the Adult Education Centre and walk into the park after crossing the river. The tutor will point out things of interest.
Your progress may be measured in a number of ways.
What do I need to bring with me?
Come dressed appropriate for the weather and wear suitable shoes such as trainers or boots.
What can I do next?
We have a range of walking courses in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells including dawn and night walks and other walks of between four and five and a half miles. We also hold map reading and navigation courses. Please ask at Reception or go to www.kentaduleducation.co.uk.
What do I need to join the course
There are no joining requirements other than being fit enough to walk (or use a wheelchair) for one and a half miles.
The walk will be taken at a pace appropriate to the group and would be suitable for those recovering from illness, those with mental health issues and those hoping to build up slowly to doing longer walks.Walking is an excellent way of forgetting your troubles and meeting new people.
