How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for students to learn and develop skills, techniques and understand how to design for a chosen craft. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques. There are no formal exams or tests to complete on this course.
What do I need to bring with me?
It is advisable to wear old clothing or bring an apron or lab coat, long hair must be tied back and open toe shoes must not be worn. Costs vary according to what you are making. Silver for a plain ring would cost approximately £20. Do not buy anything especially for the course before the first session. Please bring along anything you already have that you think would be useful to the first session.
What can I do next?
Further Jewellery courses or specific project classes such as 'Make a Ring'.
