How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for you to learn and develop skills, techniques and understand how to design for a chosen craft to a higher level.
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques.
What do I need to bring with me?
For the first lesson please bring with you: Note book and pen, apron and a tea towel, a slab of Madeira cake (from supermarket) 1 kg white sugarpaste, (also known as roll out fondant, this too can be bought from a supermarket) 10” cake board, 10” cake box, roll of clingfilm. Bring any cake decorating equipment you may have.
Further materials and equipment will be required throughout the course, details will be given when required.
