How will I be taught?
The course will involve full learner participation and self-reflection. There will be personal and sensitive discussions in small and large groups, group activities and role plays in triads (groups of three) followed by observer feedback. You will be asked to write a weekly reflective journal.
Assessment is by portfolio and tutor observation of practical skills during the course.
What do I need to bring with me?
A4 Ring binder with dividers, notebook and pen.
What can I do next?
If you are interested in progressing towards a professional counselling training programme, you can go on to study for CPCAB’s Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2). Alternatively, for information on further Adult Education courses please see our brochure or website at www.kentadulteducation.co.uk.
