How will I be taught?
Your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure that you achieve your full potential. We want you to enjoy learning with us so your course will be taught in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, where your individual needs are catered for.
Your tutor will give you informal feedback and be at hand to guide you in the star of your research.
What do I need to bring with me?
We advise students not to purchase equipment, books or materials until after the first session of the course unless otherwise stated. Any document or file that you may chose to bring remains under your responsibility for the length of the course.
What can I do next?
This session will enable you to develop your research further. You may want to join a longer Family History course to explore deeper your ancestors.Your tutor will advise you on the appropriate follow-up course. Enrol early as places cannot be guaranteed.
What do I need to join the course
All are welcome to join this course. No prior knowledge or experience of Family History is required but basic computer skills, using a keyboard, mouse and computer to access the internet at home or a local library would be needed.
For anyone who has started family history research, and wants more in depth coverage of where to find material. Students will be expected to work, using computers, on their own family, interact with other students, and contribute to class discussion.
