How will I be taught?
This course will involve lecture input and group discussions. The group will debate issues in a structured and safe environment whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.
You will complete a learning plan which will help to identify your goals on the course.
What do I need to bring with me?
A notepad and pen.
You may bring articles of interest if you wish, in print form, including those from newspapers, magazines and journals.
What can I do next?

What do I need to join the course
Everyone is welcome to join this course. No prior knowledge or experience of philosophy is required.
As the course discusses contentious issues, it is important that you are happy and confident in both offering and receiving alternative points of view.
You are encouraged to keep up with contemporary news stories and to form opinions on them.
