How will I be taught?
The session starts with a safe and effective warm up. You will then learn moves through tutor demonstration, and practice as a group or with a partner to music. Notes are provided and the lesson will finish with a gentle cool down.
You will be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire before the course starts.
Your tutor will advise you of your progress.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need to wear comfortable clothing suitable for exercise such as leggings and a t-shirt. Soft-soled shoes are required (or you can dance barefooted). Props are provided.
What can I do next?
We offer a range of dance courses in Kent Adult Education at a few different centres. Please see our brochure or visit our website at www.kentadulteducation.co.uk for details.
What do I need to join the course
No previous dance experience is needed to join the course, just an interest in dance.
You would benefit from basic mobility to make the most of this course. You are advised if you are completely new to dance or exercise to consult your local health professional first. The class is designed to pulse raise, help with stamina and co-ordination whilst learning a new skill and having fun at the same time.
