How will I be taught?
This course will be taught as a group using a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, instruction, one to one guidance, and group discussions. In addition to this you will receive one to one support and feedback during each lesson.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a basic sewing kit [ pins, thread, scissors, tape measure etc] as well as notebook and pencil. If possible please bring your sewing machine [ and instruction book] but there will be machines at the centre for you to use if this is not convenient. Basic cotton fabric will be available on the day to use provided by the tutor.

What do I need to join the course
Everyone is welcome on the course, just an enthusiam to learn new sewing skills whilst using your machine. This course is suitable for anyone who has bought a sewing machine and wishes to develop their full potential when using it. It would benefit you to bring your own machine [ and instruction book] but there are machines available at the centre for you to use if needed.
It is important to note that Craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Curriculum Leader before you enrol.
