How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. You will look at the work of contemporary and historical artists and you will keep a sketchbook/notebook and individual learning plan (ILP) to record goals, ideas, processes and progress. You will undertake critical reflection and evaluation and be motivated to develop creative skills and enhance/develop personal skills.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a stetchbook and any pencils to the first session. Further materials for the course will be discussed at this point. If you have any materials you feel are suitable bring them along and speak to the tutor.

What do I need to join the course
Have an interest in illustration with or without an art background or have some experience in Illustration and what to develop your skills further.
It is important to note that Art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer withe you or be accompanied by another adult please ask to speak to a Curriculum Leader before you enrol.
