How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for you to learn and develop skills, techniques and understand how to design for a chosen craft to a higher level. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques and self-assessment of the learning outcomes on your Individualised Learning Plan, ILP.
Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors most of whom are practising craftspeople.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need a 4mm knitting needle and one 50g ball of DK yarn. The tutor will advise what other equipment will be needed in the first session.
What can I do next?
Further Knitting, Crochet or Textile courses with KAE
What do I need to join the course
All are welcome to join this course but with a wish to develop your knitting or Crochet techniques will get the most from this course.
It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
