How will I be taught?
The emphasis is on signed communication and Sign Language will be used most of the time. A variety of teaching strategies will be used - demonstration and explanation by the tutor with signs, repeated by students, small group work and pair work, whole class exercises and games.
We will be interested to understand what you have learnt whilst on the course and will ask you to complete an evaluation form.

What do I need to join the course
No experience is required, although you must have dexterity of your hands and fingers to partciipate. If you already have some BSL basics, this would be an ideal refresher. For anyone who is interested in learning British Sign Language and how to communicate with Deaf people.
