How will I be taught?
Your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including one to one guidance and group critiques to support you in achieving your goals. The course will be taught in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, which will try to cater for your individual needs.
Your tutor will provide feedback throughout the session. You will complete an end of course evaluation.
If you have a disability and think it may affect your learning in the classroom, or using any of our other services, please speak to us in confidence as soon as possible. We will discuss options with you and do our best to provide the appropriate support.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need to bring your fully charged iPad® with you. You will also need access to your Apple® ID and Password and any other accounts and passwords that you might need for your e-mail account etc.
You may wish to bring a notepad and pen.

We offer a wide range of computing courses, including courses that develop general skills, courses focused on programs such as Microsoft® Office Word or Excel and courses which lead to qualifications. Your tutor will advise you on the most appropriate next step.

What do I need to join the course
No prior experience or knowledge of how to use an iPad® is required.
This course is for absolute beginners but some prior knowledge of computing, the internet and e-mail is required.
You will need to bring your library card with you on the day in order to be able to access the WiFi in the Ashford Gateway unless you have previously set-up an Internet connection to your iPad® in the building.
