How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques.
Students will need to understand the potential benefit from the programme of study, read and interpret ideas, communicate responses that are clear, logical and understandable and manage their own time. You will undertake critical reflection and evaluation and be motivated to develop creative skills and enhance/develop personal skills. You will look at the work of contemporary and historical artists and you will keep a sketchbook/notebook to record goals, ideas, processes and progress.
To ensure that students' learning needs are met, the tutor will work with the student to complete the required Individual Learning Plan.
What do I need to bring with me?
If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and a variety of pencils.
