How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. Students are encouraged to look at other artists' work and on occasion do some homework and research. They will be encouraged to keep a sketchbook of work. Students will need to participate full to get the most out of the course.
Your tutor will give you feedack throughout the course and encourage you to assess your own work.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will be given a full list on the first day of the course. On the first day you will need an A4 sketchbook of cartridge paper and a set of artist’s pencils that includes some hard pencils ( H) and some soft (B). If you are unsure just bring an ordinary HB with you on the first day.
What can I do next?
The Improvers course.
