How will I be taught?

Each class will start with a practical demonstration followed by a question and answer session to ensure good understanding. In addition, you will receive one to one guidance and there will be group critiques where students will have the opportunity to share their ideas and experiences, with a view to learning from each other.

What do I need to bring with me?

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Please do not buy anything especially for the course before it starts, but bring a pencil, a pair of scissors and an eraser to the first session.

What can I do next?

A further printmaking course or mixed media course with KAE.

What do I need to join the course

This course is for anyone who thinks that they might enjoy an experimental approach to printmaking and wants to have a go. It is suitable for beginners and those with a little experience. It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course.
