Safer Internet Day

As part of Safer Internet Day, Kent Adult Education are offering a series of E Safety courses for you to join.

Celebrated globally each year Safer Internet Day inspires a national conversation about using technology responsibly and aims to raise awareness of online issues and concerns.

This year’s theme ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’ raises awareness of emerging safety issues on gaming platforms where young people interact with their peers and others via live games and video streaming. Issues such as bullying, negative language and discrimination are having an impact on young people’s safety and wellbeing.

Safer Internet Day also aims to raise awareness of topics such as online responsibilities, online shopping and banking, password protection, online bullying, copyright, social networking, online grooming and harmful sites.

Kent Adult Education are offering E Safety courses that provide online training on these issues and more. You can access these course with a CLS Moodle account or as a guest here.
