If you have a passion for your subject and want to share it with others, working for Kent Adult Education as a part time tutor can be a rewarding and interesting experience.
As an organisation offering a range of courses across Kent, we need tutors who can inspire learners and ensure they are successful.
The types of experience and skills we are looking for are diverse. Some of our specialist areas include:
- Work Skills and Careers courses - these courses are designed to help learners gain skills to support them in work and everyday life.
- Health, Wellbeing and Personal Development courses - these courses are designed to help learners build their confidence and focus on their health, wellbeing and personal development.
- KAE Studio courses - these courses are designed to support learners for leisure and enjoyment.
What we need from you
- You need to thrive on the success of others, hold relevant professional qualifications, or be willing to work towards one, and have expertise in your subject area.
- A commitment to providing excellent learning opportunities for your learners.
- Experience of teaching adults is desirable but not essential – we can provide development support for the right person.
