View all news storiesWe're proud to share a video of Black History Month Community Voices, filmed during a creative event held on the 3rd of October at Gravesend Adult Education Centre. The day was offered by the NKCN (North Kent Caribbean Network) in partnership with KAE. The video features interviews with members of the community to find out what has happened in the past and how we can move the conversation forward. The film received it's premier on the 20th October at the 'This is Kent' evening at The Woodville, Gravesend. Take a look at the video below.
As part of the event a piece of artwork was created by members of the NKCN, members of the local community and staff at KAE. They created a piece of work that could signify what Black History Month means to them. This artwork will be exhibited at Gravesend Adult Education Centre.
