Congratulations to our English GCSE learner

"I embarked on the English Language GCSE course primarily in order to fill a gap on my CV, not at all expecting to have either the experience or the result that I did. From lesson one, I was hooked!

The tutor was warm, engaging, and encouraging. As someone who has had a lifelong passion for reading, it was fascinating to learn about the techniques and craft of English, and my tutor's enthusiasm for the subject meant that there was never a dull lesson. In addition, she was always very helpful with truly constructive comments when marking homework. I had originally been offered a place on the ‘High Flyer’ course, which sadly didn’t run in the end. However, the tutor quickly recognised that I was super-keen and really encouraged me to aim for a high grade. Her faith in me was incredibly motivating – I wanted to make her proud as well as do myself justice in the exams. The structure of the classes was logical and organised and I felt that at every stage, the class was being properly prepared for the exams and supported really well, regardless of the level of each student.

At exam time, the communication from customer service at Canterbury was also excellent; all the information required at each stage was provided clearly and concisely.

I have now begun the Maths GCSE course with KAE, and am very grateful for the opportunity. The quality of education I have received at no cost has been absolutely brilliant. Highly (and frequently) recommended. Thank you!"
