Connect to Work and Skills Bootcamps

View all news storiesWe're pleased to announce we will be launching the Connect to Work supported employment programme and Skills Bootcamps in 2025/26.
The Connect to Work supported employment programme for Kent & Medway will be launching as soon as possible in the 2025/26 financial year. A series of stakeholder information events will take place in the coming months, a market engagement session for potential service providers will be organised and communication materials will be available shortly with further details about the programme. Kent County Council will be overseeing the local 2025/26 Skills Bootcamps programme with the first courses commencing in July. Sectors covered in Kent & Medway include construction, agri-food, creative industries, social care and retail. A procurement process will be launched shortly to secure interest from training providers. Communication materials will be produced as soon as possible and a programme team will be in place shortly, but for any urgent queries, please contact emma.watson@kent.gov.uk.
