Gravesend Kent Adult Education Centre


The Gravesend Adult Education Centre is a large, red-brick Victorian building on the edge of Gravesend town centre.

It is known locally as the "Victoria Centre" because of the statue of Queen Victoria that stands on the corner overlooking the town. The centre has a fully equipped Pottery and Jewellery studios.

Following the Government's recent announcement regarding the easing of lockdown restrictions, our Gravesend centre re-opened on 8th March 2021. Please note: centres will only be open when courses are running. If you would like to enrol on a course in person, please call us on 03000 41 22 22* before attempting to visit to ensure we are open. Getting there

Nearest parking:

Parking on site for blue badge holders only. The nearest car park is the Thamesgate Multi-storey in Clive Road. There are also plenty of alternative car parks within Gravesend town centre such as West Street.

Parking costs:

8am to 6pm, up to 1 hour £0.80, up to 3 hours £1.50, up to 4 hours £2.00, over 4 hours £6.50. Parking is free after 6pm.
