A Day of Portrait Drawing and Painting
Who can join this course
This KAE Studio course is designed for those attending purely for leisure purposes.
It is also aimed at those who have reached their permissible limit on our Tailored Learning progression Creative provision and do not want to move on to the range of Vocational or Accredited courses offered.
This course is for students with some drawing/painting experience who would like to develop their skills through guidance and the practical experience of working directly from the portrait model.
Is this course for me
Working directly from our portrait model and guided by the tutor, the day will start with a series of short warm up drawing exercises and progress towards the afternoon to a longer pose, to enable students to embark on a more developed drawing or painting. The intended focus will be on the practise and development of drawing/painting skills observing the model and creating a " portrait"
