Who can join this course
This course is aimed at those who have previously attended a Level 1 manual bookkeeping course. If you have attended a manual bookkeeping course with another provider, then you should complete an initial assessment prior to enrolling on the course, to ensure that this is the most suitable course for you. If you have not completed a manual bookkeeping qualification previously, then the Level 1 course would be recommended,
You will need basic computing skills to attend this course as it is online and the final exams are computer-based. You should be able to follow spoken and written instructions, read handouts/activities and take part in group discussions.
This course is aimed at those who are developing the skills and knowledge required of bookkeepers. It is suitable for students studying in preparation for employment in bookkeeping roles and for those who are already employed in bookkeeping and/or data processing roles.
As this is an accredited course, regular attendance, a high level of commitment and approximately 2.5 hours of home study per week are required from you when enrolling on this course.
**PLEASE NOTE: In order to complete the course and gain a certificate, you will need to pass two computer-based exams. The assessments will take place in Sittingbourne Adult Education Centre on 11th December and 19th March. Please ensure you are available on 26th March which is the planned alternative final exam date in case of unavoidable course alterations**
**PLEASE NOTE: You must register with AAT for this qualification in order to take the exam and gain the certificate. You will need to complete registration by the third week of the course. You will need to pay a qualification fee (£68) directly to AAT in order to register for the exams. The fee covers this qualification's lifetime. Registration provides you with access to online learning materials which will support you with your study.**
