This course is open to everyone who is interested to start learing Arabic.

Is this course for me

This Arabic Beginners course will teach you how to exchange information in simple everyday situations. You will practise the sounds and the writing of the alphabet. This is your first module to start learning Arabic for your personal development, work, career progression, travels, work within the community.

Course aims

By the end of the course you should be able to:

* Exchange basic greetings
* Practise the sounds of the Arabic script
* Use numbers
* Order food and drink

You will also be asked to think of Personal Aims to individualise your learning experience, as well as another benefits the course may have.

From 1st August 2024, the Department for Education (DfE) require that learners attending this course must identify their primary purpose for learning. This course is not available for learners whose main aim is to learn a hobby, or for leisure/pleasure.
