Who can join this course
Kent Family Learning courses and workshops are free, parents, carers and grandparents, who are aged 19 years and above and who live in Kent and are intended to help create a better family life.
We would like to be able to offer them to as many people in Kent as possible so we limit enrolment to 3 courses per academic year per person.
However, if you have a reason why you should be permitted to do additional courses, and are able to commit time for your attendance, please contact Business Support on 03000 415888 or email businesssupportteam@kent.gov.uk
Non attendance on courses means that another person could have benefited from your place.
All courses are funded by the Department for Education (DFE) and are free to eligible learners. To be eligible you must be able to answer ’yes’ to BOTH statements below:
1. Have you been living in the UK or an EEA country continuously for at least 3 years prior to the learning start date, and
2. Are you a UK national, or Irish national or do you have pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme?
Please speak with us if you cannot answer ‘yes’ to both statements as you may be able to gain a place if you can provide suitable residency evidence.

Is this course for me
Welcome to Creative Paperworks where we will make some Seasonal Crafts – a magical journey where families come together to celebrate the joy of togetherness through creativity and craft! In this session, participants will immerse themselves in the creative spirit as they create cherished mementos and beautiful crafts inspired by various seasonal or cultural occasions.
During the workshop, families will have the opportunity to work together to make a variety of seasonal craft items, including ornaments, decorations, and cards. In this workshop, we will be thinking about Spring and making some crafts related to this.
Led by experienced tutors, this workshop provides a warm and welcoming environment where families can bond, learn, and create together. Suitable for children aged 3-11, Seasonal Crafts promises a delightful and memorable experience for the whole family.
