Who can join this course

This course is an introduction to getting started in crochet. By the end of the day you will have tried
your hands at the basic crochet stitches and will have an understanding how to read a crochet pattern.
You will learn how to read a crochet diagram and transcribe it into a crochet pattern.
All abilities welcome. Suitable for beginners. Familiarity with the basic crochet stitched would be
advantageous but not essential.
This course is ideal for anybody looking for a mindful and addictive hobby or learn a new skill to
produce your own clothes. Disclaimer: Once you pick up a crochet hook, you won’t be able to stop!
Please bring
-a pen and notebook
-a set of basic crochet hooks
-yarn needle
-scissors
-stitch markers
-several skeins of yarn (initially recommended to bring a minimum of one skein with further details
given during the first lesson. A cheap/ basic DK yarn is recommended to practice with at the beginning.
