Course aims

By the end of the course you should be able to:

* Describe the concept of identity and its influence on personal presentation in different social contexts
* Explore various factors that shape individual identity, such as culture, gender, and socialisation
* Develop strategies for effective personal presentation, including body language, verbal communication, and online presence
* Discuss the ethical considerations and potential consequences of managing one's identity and personal presentation in different settings

What will I need for my course

You will need a pen and notepad for any notes. Your course information will be recorded in a workbook provided by your tutor.

Additional Information

From 1st August 2024, the Department for Education (DfE) require that learners attending this course must identify their primary purpose for learning. This course is not available for learners whose main aim is to learn a hobby, or for leisure/pleasure.
