You must meet the entry requirements for the course
- You must be a UK national, or an Irish national, or an EEA national with pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement scheme
- You must have been resident in the UK or an EEA country continuously for the 3 years preceding the start date of your course. For learners living in the Greater London Authority area only you must have valid permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months in duration from the start date of your course.
- You must be aged 19 or over as at the 31st August 2024 for courses in the 2024/25 academic year
- You must agree to commit to and complete an Individual Learning Plan in agreement with your course tutor
Who can join this course
All you need is to bring some ideas with you in the form of digital photos and physical prints, a scrapbook, some glue and decorations for the scrapbook.
(A full guide will be provided a week before for preparation).
Is this course for me
Share the fun of making a story with your child. In this one-day workshop, you will learn the craft of the digital story and narrative scrapbooking. Simple, innovative and family-based.
When you and your children make art together you both share this lovely experience which reinforces bonding for both of you.
Digital Story (A film with slide, voice-over and music)
Let your imagination run wild, work with your child on a joint story, and bring it alive with music, voice-over and still photos. It can be anything you want it to be. (Bring your Digital images and sign up with Canva, the free online graphic editor.)
Scrapbooking (An artbook)
Use your child's drawings, old greeting cards, paintings, and special family photos or create from your imagination and work with your child to create a special artwork scrapbook.
